Found a workaround:
set image PYTHON_ROOT:[VMS.BIN]PYTHON.exe/flag=UPCALLS

Seem to fix the problem.

Thanks for your support.

I have take a look and do some test replacing the sleep by a call to sys$setimr with the same result...
So the problem seem to not be in the sleep routine ...

Interesting, I reproduce the problem. I will take a look.

Using various duration, from 1 to 10s the delta is always 0.2s...

Can you post the installation error log ?

You can also try to manually install the two libraries pyVim and pyVmomi.
Just copy the two directories and try to use it.

Short answer: no

Long one: should be difficult to port to VMS because are very specific to Linux

The vms.crtl module has 2 functions : to_vms and from_vms which do the job.

import vms.crtl
help(vms.crtl)

will give more information.
