Is there any impact from all the little zero length files that Mercurial leaves behind it in the ".hg" directory hierarchy?

I can painlessly get rid of them with a:
Code:
$ DELETE /NOCONFIRM [...]*.*-%%%%%%;1
but should they be there in the first place?

Greetings

Mark

Hi,

Can you check that the mercurial directory has a version limit set to 1.

JF,

Ah! No, the version limit on the ".hg" directory was "No default version limit".

I have set it to one with:
Code:
$ SET PROCESS /PARSE_STYLE=EXTENDED
$ SET DIRECTORY /VERSION_LIMIT=1 [.^.hg...]
$ SET PROCESS /PARSE_STYLE=TRADITIONAL

However, all the zero length files are version "1". Will setting the version limit to 1 stop the accumulation of zero length file?

Greetings

Mark

Not if all files have different names anyway.
And it will "only" perform an automatic PURGE of the
second older file, not prevent creation of a new file...
